About the role
AVEVA is seeking a senior Presales Lead to join its China Market Leadership team. The role will drive the adoption of AVEVA technology across China, mentor a high‑performing presales team, and act as a bridge between customers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate into the China Market Leadership team and champion AVEVA’s Way of Selling.
- Lead and develop the China presales team to become experts in AVEVA technology.
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve their targets.
- Maintain alignment with company direction through proactive communication.
- Contribute to regional and global presales initiatives and ensure bi‑directional information flow.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, delivery, and customer support teams.
- Model AVEVA Life Values – Impact, Aspiration, Curiosity, and Trust.
- Travel to meet customers, build pipelines, support closures, and gather market intelligence.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in industrial technology or software business.
- Proven track record in presales or sales management.
- Strong experience in complex customer organisations and networking.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to craft value propositions.
- Program and change management expertise.
- Excellent communication, influencing and diplomatic skills.
- Comfort working in international, virtual teams and autonomously.
- Fluent spoken and written English at an international level.
