Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to lead design and localization projects for mechanical parts. The role involves close collaboration with our German R&D team, purchasing and quality departments to ensure stable production and compliance with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify requirements and specifications of existing parts and assess their usability and compatibility.
• Lead design and localization projects, including 3‑D CAD modeling of parts and sub‑assemblies.
• Create technical specifications, initiate change requests and maintain the Material Master in SAP.
• Support purchasing and quality teams during part localization and supplier audits.
• Influence machine UMC through design changes and work with other departments to ensure stable production processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in mechanical engineering within an MNC environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, casting, sheet‑metal design, drive or gear engineering.
• Strong coordination, communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and drive them to completion.

Required skills

• 3‑D CAD modeling of parts and assemblies.
• Proficiency with SAP Material Master management.
