Ocean Customer Experience Team Lead - Korean Speaker

About the role

Maersk is looking for an experienced Ocean Customer Experience Team Lead who can drive performance, ensure high‑quality issue resolution and champion continuous improvement within the Ocean CX function. The role requires fluency in Korean (and strong English) to support a multicultural customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational goals into daily and weekly team plans and monitor execution.
• Manage team performance through KPIs, coaching, and regular follow‑ups.
• Ensure timely, first‑time customer issue resolution with minimal escalations.
• Identify process gaps and lead improvement initiatives.
• Support rollout and adoption of new systems and platforms.
• Act as escalation point and coordinate with stakeholders to remove blockers.
• Drive team engagement, capability development and change management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Customer Experience, Ocean product or Operations.
• Strong team‑management and coaching abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
• Result‑oriented with solid problem‑solving and execution capabilities.
• Process‑mindset with end‑to‑end impact awareness.
• Experience in change management and project management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and near‑native Korean proficiency.
