Service Attendant – Fine Dining Waiter/Waitress

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Mandarin Oriental, Sanya as a Service Attendant, delivering fine‑dining service in a world‑class luxury resort. You will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for guests by providing attentive, accurate, and courteous service throughout each meal.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent, attentive service to all guests in a fine‑dining setting.
• Set up tables, side stations and banquet areas according to the hotel’s standards.
• Take food and beverage orders, upsell menu items, liquors and cocktails.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and verify bills before presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room, chairs, banquettes, silverware and glassware.
• Support food runners to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Check guest satisfaction at each course and anticipate additional needs.
• Participate in all food‑and‑beverage training sessions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fine‑dining service or upscale restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards hospitality setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems.
• Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, liquor and cocktail menus.
• Ability to set up and maintain side stations and table settings.
