Senior Software Engineer – Powertrain Systems

About the role

Bosch Powertrain Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead ECU software development for advanced powertrain solutions. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to design, integrate, test, and release high‑quality embedded software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and release ECU software according to customer specifications.
• Design software solutions and define system‑specific data and FMEA for each project.
• Prepare software and hardware requirement documents.
• Provide technical design solutions to address customer challenges.
• Validate system functions on test benches (lab car, engine) and on‑vehicle.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills for technical discussions.
• Broad technical background with basic knowledge of automotive components.
• Experience in embedded systems and familiarity with software development and test processes.
• Preferred experience in automotive or consumer electronics (up to 2 years).
