Finance Business Partner – Controlling (Japan)

About the role

You will act as a finance business partner to Japan LSU controllers, supporting daily operational controlling activities and analysing business performance against budget and forecast. You will contribute to financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting while collaborating with local controlling units to understand performance drivers. You will also help optimise processes, implement internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational controlling support and performance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports, business plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with local controlling teams to identify financial performance drivers.
• Drive process optimisation, standardisation and internal control implementation.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of operational finance and controlling experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English.
