About the role
The End‑of‑Line (EOL) Test Engineer is responsible for defining, developing and industrialising test solutions that verify functional, electrical, safety and customer requirements before products leave the production line.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in concept and development phases to define EOL test requirements and scope.
- Create and maintain EOL test specifications aligned with product functionality, safety and customer needs.
- Design and implement automated or semi‑automated EOL test flows, collaborating with hardware and mechanical engineering teams.
- Define and verify test interfaces and ensure functional, electrical and communication test coverage.
- Support DVT, PVT and SOP phases, analyse and resolve test failures, and continuously optimise test stability, cycle time and yield.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing plants and EMS partners during ramp‑up and line operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Communication, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with EOL/FCT/ICT testing for automotive or industrial electronics products.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across hardware, software, mechanical, quality and manufacturing teams.
- Fluent English communication (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Required skills
- Automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet (diagnostics a plus).
- Hardware fundamentals: power‑supply architecture, SoC/MCU basics, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO.
- Test software development or scripting: LabVIEW, Python, C#, C/C++.
- Hands‑on experience in mass‑production environments and supporting factories or EMS sites.
