Cybersecurity Expert / Manager – Cloud Security (China)

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Expert/Manager for Cloud Security in China, you will lead the technical management of local-to-local cybersecurity services for Chinese cloud workloads. You will coordinate an external service provider, ensure compliance with Chinese regulations, and support the growth of the local security team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and set strategic direction for local cybersecurity services covering Chinese cloud workloads.
• Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of an external service provider to guarantee timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Chinese data protection and cybersecurity laws in collaboration with the service provider and internal stakeholders.
• Support and develop the local security team in coordination with other C/CYT teams, fostering knowledge sharing.
• Represent the department to partners and customers, building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Chinese citizenship (legal requirement).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related technical field.
• Proven experience leading and managing international teams.
• Experience in security assessment of SaaS solutions and handling security alerts for cloud subscriptions.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity for cloud workloads and the Chinese legal landscape.
• Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) and very good English communication skills.
• Strong leadership, initiative, problem‑solving and sense of responsibility.
