Audit Associate / Senior – Shenzhen

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Audit Associate or Senior to join its Shenzhen office. You will lead audit engagements for small to medium sized clients, applying Deloitte's risk‑based methodology and leveraging digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assume overall control of small to medium sized audit assignments.
• Perform audit engagements and, occasionally, accounting and taxation tasks.
• Build trust with stakeholders while maintaining independence.
• Deliver high‑quality services with awareness of regulatory impact and risk management.
• Exercise professional judgment in using audit tools, guidance and methodology.
• Develop a thorough understanding of risk assessment and contribute to risk discussions.
• Demonstrate digital dexterity and adopt new technologies to solve problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in any discipline, preferably accounting.
• Three to five years of audit experience in a CPA firm, preferably a Big 4.
• CICPA or HKICPA certification desirable; other CPA qualifications a plus.
• Good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and/or HK GAAP, with strong IPO‑related knowledge.
• Intermediate skill in audit analytics and data visualisation.
• Proficient written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua/Cantonese).
