Welding Engineer

About the role

Join a global leader in resource‑efficient technologies as a Welding Engineer, responsible for ensuring welding processes meet the highest technical standards and continuously improving the company’s welding capability.

Key responsibilities

• Review and develop welding documents, including WPS and PQR, ensuring compliance with ASME, PV, PED, and Nuclear codes.
• Implement and continuously improve welding processes, develop fixtures, and support automation welding projects.
• Collaborate with QA to analyse critical failures, lead corrective actions, and support third‑party audits.
• Introduce welding processes for new products, develop standard work procedures, and train welders to achieve high quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Welding, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of welding engineering experience with in‑depth knowledge of welding codes (ASME, PV, PED, Nuclear).
• Proven ability to work in an international team and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Development and review of WPS/PQR documentation.
• Knowledge of ASME, PV, PED, and Nuclear welding standards.
• Use of quality improvement tools for process capability and capacity enhancement.
• Automation welding project management and fixture design.
