Vehicle Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Network Security Engineer to lead and support cybersecurity initiatives within the automotive domain. The role involves research, knowledge management, and collaboration to ensure the security of vehicle technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in research activities and manage internal knowledge on vehicle technology.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity projects in a collaborative environment.
• Perform audits at manufacturers and Tier-1 facilities for ISO/SAE 21434 and R-155/156 compliance.
• Conduct threat assessments, analyze attack vectors, and review cybersecurity requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of CSMS/SUMS environments.
• Define and execute cybersecurity testing procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or Computer Science.
• Relevant experience in an OEM or Tier-1 automotive department is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, goal-oriented, self‑initiative and systematic working style.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluency in Chinese and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 standard.
• Familiarity with R-155 and R-156 standards.
• Experience with CSMS/SUMS environments.
• Cybersecurity testing expertise.
• Threat assessment and attack‑vector analysis.
