Test Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Handle the new module product workshop on‑site function test process.
• Work with the Project Engineer to establish assembly and manufacturing standards and the complete quality‑control documentation for new modules.
• Lead testing of the new module’s control system (hardware and software) and mechanical components, completing the full test programme.
• Implement module testing for class certification and for customer Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Develop local workshop assembly and manufacturing process standards and quality‑control documents for the new module product.
• Support service engineers with on‑board commissioning for pilot modules when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Background in marine products; knowledge of Alfa Laval products is a plus.
• Experience in testing or service roles, preferably in marine environments.
• Familiarity with marine class regulations, module manufacturing processes and quality control.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
