Technical Sales Engineer – Automotive Software & AI Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth of advanced automotive software, ECU development, testing, calibration, diagnostics and AI‑enabled engineering solutions. You will act as a technical consultant and trusted advisor for OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and technology partners, translating complex engineering challenges into compelling commercial proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage sales opportunities with automotive OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and technology partners.
• Act as a technical advisor, understanding customer engineering workflows, software development and toolchain requirements.
• Promote solutions covering ECU software development, AUTOSAR Classic & Adaptive, in‑vehicle networking, diagnostics, measurement & calibration, SIL/HIL/MIL validation and software‑defined vehicle development.
• Lead the full sales cycle: qualification, technical discovery, solution design, demos, proof‑of‑concept, negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with account managers, product management, engineering and global expert teams to craft customer‑specific proposals and quotations.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, workshops and RFQ responses.

Required profile

• Strong experience in automotive software or embedded systems.
• Hands‑on knowledge of development and testing toolchains for ECUs.
• Proven ability to engage with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and semiconductor partners.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both engineering and commercial audiences.
