System Architect for Car Computer

About the role

The company is looking for a senior System Architect to lead the design and integration of a car‑computer platform within a Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) Electronic Electronic Architecture (EEA). The role bridges hardware and software co‑design, ensuring seamless interaction between infotainment, ADAS and other vehicle domains.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall system block diagram, select components (MCUs, power‑management ICs, transceivers) and standardize service interfaces.
• Design real‑time data exchange mechanisms such as Ethernet/SOME/IP and CAN FD to enable interoperability with domain controllers.
• Collaborate with software, systems engineering and validation teams to develop low‑level drivers, communication stacks and diagnostic functions compliant with AUTOSAR.
• Translate market and customer requirements into technical specifications and support EEA roadmap definition.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (high‑speed Ethernet, AI‑driven diagnostics, secure communication) and provide recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with functional‑safety standards (ISO 26262) and internal design guidelines throughout development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Automation, Vehicle Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive EEA, SOA architectures or related domains.
• Proven experience with mainstream OEM SOA and distributed controller solutions.
• Strong project‑management and cross‑department communication skills.
• Fluent English (German preferred); PMP or similar certification is a plus.
