Sr Douyin Media Analytics and Commercial Data Modeling Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior manager to lead end‑to‑end Douyin media mix modeling (MMM) and media effectiveness analysis for our China business, driving data‑based investment decisions and AI‑enabled insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Douyin MMM and media effectiveness analysis, building models to evaluate media combinations, content quality, spillover effects and saturation curves.
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations on media mix, content/commerce allocation and investment priorities.
• Partner with digital commerce, media and brand teams to define business questions, hypotheses and measurement frameworks.
• Design and help build AI‑enabled analytical architecture for consumption data and related KPIs, automating monthly performance diagnosis and driver decomposition.
• Develop predictive models such as sales forecasting, scenario modeling and early market/competitor warning signals, and create AI agents for automated insight generation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in modeling and data analytics across agency and manufacturer environments.
• 2+ years of experience building AI‑enabled analytics workflows and agents.
• Strong hands‑on modeling capability (forecasting, regression, MMM/attribution) with ability to run models independently.
• Deep understanding of the Douyin media and commerce ecosystem and related data sources.
• Proven ability to work end‑to‑end with complex commercial and marketing datasets, including extraction, cleansing, transformation and feature engineering.
