About the role
The Site Service Mechanical Engineer will service material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with customer quality standards and schedules. The role involves diagnosing mechanical faults, performing repairs, and adhering to EHS legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out material handling equipment servicing according to quality standards and time schedules.
- Undertake scheduled repairs following manufacturers' recommendations and industry best practices.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and execute necessary repairs.
- Comply with EHS legislation at all times.
Required profile
- Three to five years of experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
- Willingness to be on call and work shift patterns as required.
Required skills
- Working understanding of mechanical manuals and drawings.
- Experience with CAD mechanical drawing.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and techniques.
- Experience with material handling equipment.
