Shipping Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a Shipping Specialist to join its EL Smart Power business in Xiamen, China. You will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring that goods are received and shipped in compliance with quality, legal, and cost requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve transport and documentation processes.
• Communicate with customers on packaging requirements, shipping marks, packing lists, and transportation plans.
• Arrange cargo bookings, control shipping costs, and manage packing and loading plans.
• Prepare export declarations, shipping documents, and certificates.
• Handle sales order and warranty‑period material export shipments.
• Settle and manage shipping and loading charges, implementing the settlement process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; logistics or export trade major preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
