Senior Warehouse Manager – Automation & Operations

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Senior Warehouse Manager to lead both day‑to‑day warehouse operations and a multi‑year automation strategy for its distribution centre in Changzhou. You will be responsible for driving productivity, safety and continuous improvement while delivering cutting‑edge automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the warehouse team, fostering a safety‑first culture.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities to meet KPIs such as on‑time shipping, order accuracy and inventory accuracy.
• Manage the annual warehouse operating budget and ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
• Control inventory processes, including cycle counting and physical inventories, using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Identify bottlenecks with data analytics and apply Lean or Six Sigma improvements.
• Develop and execute a multi‑year automation roadmap, from concept and ROI analysis to vendor selection, implementation and go‑live.
• Lead automation projects involving AS/RS, AMRs, goods‑to‑person, robotic picking and advanced sortation.
• Coordinate with transportation, procurement, IT, engineering and finance stakeholders.
• Drive change management, training and communication for new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution or fulfillment centre management.
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for teams and operational budgets.
• Strong project‑management capabilities handling complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
