Senior Software Engineer – Mobile iOS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. You will work in the HangSeng CMB Mobile App Engineering POD, delivering high‑quality projects that help users achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on schedule and with quality within the HangSeng CMB Mobile App Engineering POD.
• Participate in technical design, development, unit testing, support for SIT/UAT, release and ongoing production support.
• Maintain strong relationships with users and IT partners.
• Efficiently resolve technical problems during project development.
• Ensure code passes required cybersecurity and quality scans using approved tools.
• Prepare project documentation and strictly follow compliance and audit policies.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in mobile iOS app engineering.
• Solid native development skills with Objective‑C and Swift, using MVC/MVP/MVVM frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of software design and design patterns.
• Experience building and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Strong quality engineering and test‑management capabilities.
• Good understanding of commercial‑bank domain requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and handling production issues.
• Understanding of HTTP, JSON, JIRA, Jenkins (CI/CD) and Confluence.
