Senior Software Engineer

About the role

HSBC is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Hang Seng CMB Mobile App Engineering POD. You will help deliver high‑quality mobile solutions that enable users to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and release iOS applications using Objective‑C and Swift.
• Support SIT/UAT, manage production releases and provide ongoing support.
• Collaborate with users, IT partners and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Run cybersecurity and quality scans through approved tooling.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, adhering to compliance and audit policies.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong knowledge of MVC, MVP or MVVM patterns and software design principles.
• Experience building automation frameworks and managing test activities.
• Understanding of commercial banking domain requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing tasks and take ownership.
