Senior Safety Project Lead

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Senior Safety Project Lead in Shanghai. The role manages and delivers assigned projects covering one or more Lifecycle Safety functions (clinical trial and/or post-market), acting as the main customer contact and overseeing operational service delivery across the opportunity lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer interface and deliverables, including project planning, scope, quality and financial management
• Act as account owner for a program or customer portfolio and report program-level metrics
• Solve as solution architect and Safety SME, formulating budget assumptions and defending strategy and pricing
• Lead customer-facing collateral and operational support, and guide service delivery from scoping through proposal, bid defence and handover
• Manage project finances, including revenue recognition, invoicing, budget review and change orders
• Support start-up of new projects, identify risks and run audits and inspections with Quality Assurance
• Work with Sales and Proposals on tailored responses, and take part in sales presentations and proposals as required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in health science or another directly related field
• 2-3 years of Lifecycle Safety experience (pharmacovigilance, CEVA, medical information, safety publishing, risk management, etc.) with project management experience, or equivalent combination of education, training or experience
• Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines and IQVIA SOPs
• Willingness to learn across Lifecycle Safety service lines
