Senior Construction Engineer - Living Quarters

About the role

Saipem, a global engineering and construction company for energy and infrastructure projects, is looking for a Senior Construction Engineer for the NFPS EPC5 project in Tianjin, China. The role supports construction organisation during bid and execution, managing interfaces with engineering and procurement, material and equipment availability, and safety and quality compliance. It is a single position, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safe working practices and environmental protection, and ensure project quality and contractual requirements are met
• Coordinate the project team's time schedule and report progress, causes of deviations and proposed solutions
• Control production parameters for efficiency and productivity
• Support the Construction Superintendent in setting up and monitoring data workflows, and in resolving technical problems
• Support quantity verification, including updating man-hours and cost estimates for scope changes
• Supervise and monitor works, whether subcontracted or directly hired, and coordinate human and technical resources and vendor activities
• Coordinate with Procurement the materials procurement flow and prepare RFQs during bid and execution phases, including TBE for subcontracts and services
• Prepare TCF design, procurement and construction methods and schedule, and back up construction experience data with traceability

Required profile

• Strong experience in Living Quarters fabrication activities
• English language skills (and any others specified by the project)
