Senior College Counselor

About the role

Join the College Counseling Department at diponteducation’s Shanghai headquarters as a Senior College Counselor. You will guide high‑potential Chinese students through every stage of the U.S. and international university application process, helping them turn academic ambitions into admissions offers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one counseling to 15‑20 students, creating personalized roadmaps from extracurricular planning to final application submission.
• Assist students in selecting majors, target universities, and crafting compelling essays.
• Coordinate with partner schools and travel occasionally to support outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and application milestones.
• Collaborate with a multicultural team of eight counselors to share best practices and resources.

Required profile

• Prior experience in U.S. college admissions or international student counseling.
• Strong passion for mentoring and helping students achieve academic goals.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, global team.
