Senior Automation Engineer

About the role

The Senior Automation Engineer will provide end‑to‑end technical support for the factory’s building automation (BAS), environmental monitoring (EMS, TSI), coding, alarm and CCTV systems, as well as GMP equipment automation. The role includes daily maintenance, project implementation and collaboration with maintenance and IT/OT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate continuous improvement (MPS) and propose actions to increase automation system efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and GMP requirements, manage documentation and report any compliance issues.
• Develop, update and enforce SOPs throughout the system lifecycle to guarantee stable, reliable operation and cost reduction.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventories, conduct periodic reviews and adjust stock levels accordingly.
• Collaborate with equipment maintenance and information engineers to resolve automation and integration issues, including system changes and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or electromechanical fields.
• Minimum 8 years of automation experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and cooperate with cross‑functional teams.
