About the role

Teachanywhere is seeking a passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join its boarding school in Shanghai. The role involves delivering music education to secondary students while contributing to the vibrant life of the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with UK and/or IBDP curricula.
• Support students’ academic progress and personal development, emphasizing character building.
• Participate actively in boarding life, extracurricular activities, and school events.
• Collaborate with a diverse faculty team to uphold the school’s mission and goals.
• Provide guidance for English as a Second Language learners where needed.

Required profile

• Fully qualified music teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience with UK or International Baccalaureate curricula is desirable.
• Previous international or boarding school experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues from varied cultural backgrounds.
• Commitment to student welfare and character development.
