Secondary Humanities Teacher (History, Geography, Global Perspectives)

About the role

Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science is seeking enthusiastic secondary teachers of Humanities – including History, Geography and Global Perspectives – to join its international learning community. You will guide students in exploring societies, cultures and environments, fostering critical thinking and global citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons for Grades 7‑12 in line with both Chinese and international curricula.
• Design inquiry‑based projects, discussions and research activities that connect classroom learning to real‑world contexts.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support differentiated learning pathways.
• Collaborate with subject specialists, senior staff and parents to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Integrate educational technology tools to enrich instruction and student collaboration.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or teaching qualification in History, Geography, Social Studies or a related field.
• Experience teaching secondary‑level Humanities in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
