Secondary Art Teacher (IGCSE & A-Level)

About the role

Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science is looking for a passionate Secondary Art Teacher to deliver IGCSE and A‑Level art programmes starting August 2026. You will join a vibrant, internationally‑linked community that values creativity, cultural understanding and student growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for secondary students, covering IGCSE and A‑Level curricula.
• Develop students' technical skills across a variety of media while encouraging imagination and originality.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and support individual artistic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into the broader interdisciplinary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet Chinese educational standards and incorporate new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong enthusiasm for student development and belief in their capacity to learn.
• Willingness to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Ability to work effectively in a dual‑language immersion environment.
