R&D Planner & Controller

About the role

The R&D Planner & Controller will support Bosch's research and development budgeting and cost‑control processes in Suzhou. You will act as the main point of contact for data collection, system expertise, and reporting, ensuring accurate financial planning across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate business data for CF/BP Capex and department cost‑center planning.
• Serve as the MCR system expert, assisting project managers with IGPM MCR planning and budget‑related issues.
• Track sample GR, manage sample inventories, and conduct bi‑weekly resource tracking.
• Perform monthly field‑analysis project tracking, time‑recording verification, and CP‑performance report coordination.
• Handle monthly payment/PO tracking as the BCSC contact window and support quarterly license reporting and LTAA topics.
• Provide basic data cleaning, analysis, and reporting for R&D planning and key project tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Meticulous, reliable, and able to deliver high‑quality results under tight deadlines.
• Fluent written English; basic spoken English; CET‑6 certification.
• Strong resilience, adaptability, and a proactive learning attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, chart creation).
• Ability to design and maintain PivotTables for multi‑dimensional analysis.
• Experience with the MCR budgeting system or similar internal planning tools.
