Quality & NDT Engineer

About the role

The Quality & NDT Engineer supports Airbus Tianjin in ensuring the integrity of parts and materials through non‑destructive testing. The role is focused on performing, validating and supervising NDT activities while maintaining compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a range of NDT methods (X‑ray, ultrasonic, penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, thermography) and issue attestations.
• Define, validate and document NDT procedures for detecting cracks, corrosion, delamination and other defects.
• Organise and maintain a qualified, certified NDT system and develop new metrology techniques.
• Support non‑conformity management, FMEA, root‑cause analysis and related quality processes.
• Prepare NDT test reports, inspection plans and supervise NDT personnel.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a strong commitment to integrity.
• Ability to work onsite in Tianjin and collaborate with quality, engineering and material teams.
