Quality Management Methods Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Management Methods Engineer you will develop and maintain the quality strategy and system in line with ISO 9000 standards. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to analyse KPIs, drive improvements and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain the quality management system according to ISO 9000.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to analyse company KPIs and initiate performance‑enhancing actions.
• Lead internal, customer and third‑party audits, and manage corrective actions until closure.
• Provide project‑level quality assurance, track improvement actions and promote resolution of quality issues.
• Organise training, gas analysis and related quality‑management activities as assigned.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity in all activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality systems, quality planning, process control or quality assurance.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and strong teamwork attitude.
• Good computer operating skills and fluent oral and written English.
