Project Manager

About the role

Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH, through its MWM brand, is seeking a Project Manager to lead gas‑power projects across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize professional project‑management techniques to complete gas‑power projects on schedule while minimizing costs.
• Develop and manage project timelines with milestones, oversee budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
• Establish technical boundaries in collaboration with design institutes, subcontractors, installation companies and EPC contractors.
• Ensure seamless commissioning to facilitate on‑time payments.
• Collaborate with the CES factory and dealers to clarify contractual technical and commercial terms.
• Coordinate cross‑functional internal resources including sales, supply chain, production, application engineering, logistics and finance.
• Support dealers in enhancing technical capabilities through accurate application and installation assistance.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Knowledge of the organization’s budgeting process and ability to apply budgeting policies.
• Working knowledge of budgeting practices, capable of producing budget reports comparing planned versus actual expenses with variance explanations.
• Ability to supply supporting information for budget decisions.
