Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Operator to join our production team at Evonik. In this role you will work with complex machinery, follow established processes and help maintain efficient operations while contributing to a sustainable and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Operate complex production machines, prioritising routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Adjust machine settings and parameters to meet performance standards and resolve production issues.
• Perform simple installation, maintenance and repair tasks under supervision.
• Carry out basic quality sampling and inspection of products or processes.
• Follow mandatory work instructions and use personal protective equipment to ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Secondary / Intermediate education (minimum 2 GCSEs).
• Basic experience with simple operational or office systems.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to work with guidance.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks to meet business objectives.
• Understanding of safe work systems and elementary risk assessment.
