Procurement Operations Analyst (APAC)

About the role

JCI is looking for a Procurement Operations Analyst to support APAC transactional purchasing. The role covers end-to-end purchase order management across APAC, vendor coordination and reporting, within a strong shared service mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Follow procurement and compliance policy and process, and handle purchase orders (issuing, confirmation, delivery and closure) across APAC.
• Monitor vendors to deliver qualified goods or services on time with accurate quantities, and manage external vendors and intercompany supply parties.
• Coordinate with internal requesters, sourcing teams, logistics, warehouses and finance teams on all purchase order activities.
• Verify purchase requests and approved sourcing decisions, issue and release purchase orders, obtain vendor acknowledgements, track deliveries and quality, and follow up until closure.
• Keep purchase order status in sync with requirements and supply, record confirmed information in the ERP system, and maintain master data from signed vendor contracts (part numbers, contract prices, lead times).
• Run periodic ERP reports on vendor deliveries and PO closures, and follow up with the required purchasing actions.
• Solve PO-related problems with vendors and internal stakeholders, escalate when necessary, and complete other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience, preferably with a purchasing background.
• Fluent English, spoken and written; Korean and Japanese preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with people at different levels and to lead negotiations.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP or another ERP system's purchasing function.
• Good Microsoft skills.
• Shared service mindset aligned with service level and KPIs.
