Preventive Quality and Release Engineer – Electrification

About the role

Join Bosch as a Preventive Quality and Release Engineer focusing on electrification. You will ensure that purchased parts meet Bosch quality standards throughout the development and release phases, supporting global projects and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive quality and release activities for purchased parts across dedicated commodities worldwide.
• Verify supplier and sub‑supplier compliance with Bosch quality requirements during product development and release, defining corrective measures when deviations occur.
• Ensure projects and commodities are qualified according to established processes and timelines.
• Provide technical support to resolve quality issues for allocated commodities.
• Report project status and, for critical projects, define actions in coordination with PMQ Project Coordinators.
• Drive Lessons Learned initiatives to continuously improve preventive quality and release processes, coordinating with Bosch functions and locations.
• Generate data and present reports during internal and external quality or escalation meetings.

Required profile

• Experience in quality, project management, production or development.
• Background with variable material fields such as gear parts, machining, stamping or plastic molding.
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality tools and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
