Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer - Azure

About the role

Beyondsoft, a mid-sized business IT and consulting company with offices across North America, South America, Europe and Asia, is looking for a Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure. The role supports cloud sales and business development by combining technical solution consulting, customer engagement and sales enablement, helping customers adopt Microsoft Azure and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with target customers and partners, identify business needs and share qualified opportunities to support pipeline and revenue targets.
• Hold regular customer meetings to understand priorities and technical requirements, track engagement metrics and improve customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical guidance on Azure cloud services, AI solutions, application architecture, software development, deployment and cloud adoption.
• Support solution design, proof-of-concepts, demonstrations and architecture recommendations.
• Help sales teams answer technical questions, competitive challenges, security concerns and feasibility issues.
• Work with engineering, delivery and technical teams to validate solutions and align customer expectations with delivery capabilities.
• Stay current on Microsoft product updates, Azure services, AI capabilities and cloud trends, and support proposal development and deal closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Communications Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software, technology solutions, cloud computing, technical consulting or a related industry.
• Experience supporting technical solution development, customer-facing technology projects or project management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and services, with foundational knowledge of Azure and cloud computing.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn customer requirements into technical recommendations.

Preferred qualifications

• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure AI, database fundamentals or equivalent cloud certifications.
• Certifications from other cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Azure adoption, cloud migration, AI solution consulting or enterprise technology sales support.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, giving product demonstrations or supporting proof-of-concept engagements.
• Familiarity with cloud security, governance and enterprise architecture principles.
