Platform DtC Project Manager – eCompressor Cost Reduction

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Platform DtC Project Manager to lead cost‑reduction initiatives for its eCompressor product line. You will collaborate with product managers, cross‑functional teams and customers to identify, develop and launch cost‑down measures while ensuring quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse product cost targets and work with design, manufacturing, supply‑chain and logistics to uncover cost‑down opportunities.
• Track DtC (Design‑to‑Cost) measures, create project plans and allocate resources to meet on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality goals.
• Calculate payback for cost‑down actions and define launch strategies.
• Coordinate with customer teams to implement measures in customer projects.
• Perform cost analysis across product variants to maintain balanced cost structures.
• Prepare global project quotations and ensure reasonable costing for worldwide projects.
• Report DtC development status and plans to global management.
• Support additional product cost‑reduction tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of project‑management experience in automotive product development.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical design and assembly manufacturing.
• Systematic thinking and solid project‑management knowledge.
• Strong communication, presentation and teamwork abilities.
