Physics Systems Engineer

About the role

On the basis of his/her professional specialization, makes a substantial contribution to the innovation of product and process. Develops new products, using the latest technologies and resources, often realizing systems based on unverified specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plans, oversees and executes Systems Engineering activities for the imaging platform, including initiation, coordination, synchronization, review and integration of technical work.
• Provides overall technical leadership and responsibility for platform components and acts as the technical stakeholder for all imaging platform aspects.
• Analyzes stakeholder needs and translates them into subsystem or platform requirements.
• Leads cross‑discipline feasibility and trade‑off studies, and derives, budgets and allocates subsystem requirements and interfaces.
• Prepares technical documentation and drives subsystem verification, testing strategy and formal verification stages.
• Supports verification, validation, post‑validation and post‑market activities for the product.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Software Physics, Electrical, Nuclear engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of intensive experience in systems engineering and/or CT scanner development.
• Strong technical English communication skills, capable of reading technical documentation and participating in design discussions.
• Experience with requirements management, including writing effective requirements and generating specification documents.
