Operations and Communications Lead

About the role

Ericsson is looking for an Operations and Communications Lead to drive communication, governance and operational excellence across its Radio Pacific (RP) unit. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, you will work closely with teams in Beijing, Chengdu and global partners to improve transparency, engagement and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead communication, governance and operational excellence initiatives aligned with sector priorities and One Ericsson ways of working.
• Translate complex program and operations topics into clear narratives for leaders, teams and hosted units.
• Plan and deliver internal communication campaigns such as newsletters, intranet stories, town‑halls and success‑story updates.
• Create and curate assets – articles, presentations, infographics or short videos – in collaboration with corporate communication teams.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven digitalisation and process‑optimization opportunities to boost operational efficiency.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration across RP, global teams and hosted units, facilitating alignment and issue resolution.
• Manage EGMS compliance, internal audits and related improvement actions to ensure robust governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving change initiatives and continuous‑improvement activities, preferably in R&D or project‑driven environments.
• Background in communications, media, journalism, marketing or a related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English with strong content‑development abilities.
• Hands‑on experience planning and executing internal communication or engagement activities.
• Good understanding of digital channels and a keen interest in using AI and digitalisation to improve operations.
• Accountable, can‑do attitude with a customer‑focused, end‑to‑end mindset.
• Collaborative approach comfortable working across teams and geographies; exposure to ICT or high‑tech industries is a plus.
