Operational Officer, Procurement Operations & Process Excellence

About the role

We are looking for an Operational Officer to drive procurement operations and process excellence in our Shanghai office. The role ensures reliable delivery and efficient end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay processes while supporting internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the purchase‑to‑pay process, handling purchase requisitions and generating purchase orders.
• Collaborate with requisitioners, buyers, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve supply issues and manage order confirmations.
• Steer buying channel usage toward higher automation and ensure compliance with quality standards and procurement policies.
• Maintain master data, collect required documentation such as certificates, and coordinate non‑conformity investigations.
• Train internal departments on procurement guidelines and proper use of the procurement platform.
• Support implementation of procurement strategies and handle exception processing for purchase requisitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, sales or supply chain.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Open‑minded and motivated to take on challenging tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of SAP purchase‑to‑pay module (preferred).
