About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead safety, quality and productivity on construction projects in Guangzhou. The role ensures proper use of KONE installation methods, manages site readiness, and acts as the primary customer contact throughout the installation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality and productivity during installation and handover, raising corrective actions for any non‑conformities.
• Ensure installation teams use correct KONE methods and tools, and conduct risk assessments where standard methods are not feasible.
• Plan and organise site logistics, material deliveries (MS 3c, MS 3x) and storage, and manage site‑specific resources and tools.
• Conduct site visits, audits and resolve non‑conformities with customers, supported by the Project Manager as needed.
• Verify execution plans, manage field costs, and ensure timely handover to maintenance, including final testing and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong focus on safety, motivation and wellbeing of operatives.
• Ability to lead and develop both internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring training, certification and competence.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the primary customer liaison and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Commitment to continuous improvement using Lean principles and proactive problem‑solving.
