About the role

The on‑site Construction Manager for secondary electrical works is responsible for overseeing safety, environmental, and health (EHS) performance of subcontractors and ensuring compliance with all construction procedures. Reporting to the Building Engineer and ultimately the Construction Manager, this role coordinates permits, work sequencing, and quality standards on the field.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety procedures and EHS standards at all times.
• Coordinate work permit applications and implementation.
• Attend all subcontractor meetings related to construction and EHS.
• Follow project‑specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and update the Construction Manager on progress and issues.
• Supervise and monitor subcontractor activities, conduct continuous inspections, and assess work quality.
• Interpret scope and drawings for subcontractors and liaise with package owners on technical approvals.
• Identify non‑conformities, take corrective actions, and manage punch‑list items.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction sites, preferably in electrical works.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and construction safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.
