About the role

The Cost Control Specialist will support Bosch's manufacturing plant in Suzhou by analysing performance, managing cost structures and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with plant management to ensure accurate cost tracking and effective budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse plant performance, variance, risk and opportunity for BP, MBR and CF.
• Prepare and present cost performance reports to central and local management.
• Maintain plant costing, including PPC calculation, SAP standard costing and overhead control.
• Control lead‑type unit costs and monitor RPP measures.
• Verify plant measures, track VSPDCA, and propose management actions.
• Perform project calculations, quotations, investment analysis and make‑or‑buy decisions.
• Budget and control cost‑center, headcount and investment plans.
• Analyse plan/actual/target KPIs related to material availability and usage.
• Track material variances, maintain material master data and support process digitalisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in plant controlling or cost management.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI and Power Query.
• Microsoft Access.
• Python programming.
• SAP CO (Controlling) model knowledge.
