About the role

We are seeking an International Tax Senior Consultant to join our Tax Department in Beijing. The role involves providing expert advice on cross‑border tax matters for multinational clients and supporting the team in delivering high‑quality tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of international tax regulations and treaties.
• Prepare and review tax filings, compliance documents, and advisory reports.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimise global tax positions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Big 4 firms, to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Japanese.
• Minimum of two years experience in corporate tax, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, organisational and business sense.
• Proactive, results‑oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international tax law and treaty interpretation.
• Proficiency in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office suite.
