Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure the reliable operation of electrical testing and laboratory equipment across its high‑voltage product facilities. You will lead daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities while minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, condition monitoring, and hidden‑danger elimination for electrical and experimental devices.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance and inspection plans for testing and laboratory equipment.
• Conduct failure analysis, generate maintenance reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, procurement coordination, and storage in line with GB, IEC and other relevant standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and provide training on safe operation and basic maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external safety regulations and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, repair, and management.
• Valid low‑voltage electrician operation certificate (special operations work permit); higher‑level qualifications may be required for high‑voltage work.
• Strong fault diagnosis and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken) and proficient with common office software.
