About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Lower Primary Teacher to lead a Year 2 class at our new international school in Shanghai. The successful candidate will deliver the UK‑based curriculum, support English‑as‑an‑Additional‑Language learners, and actively contribute to the school’s vibrant extra‑curricular programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 students following the UK primary curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback.
• Design and participate in a range of extra‑curricular activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a cohesive learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in primary education.
• Experience with the UK curriculum is desirable; strong teaching background accepted.
• Ability to work effectively in a new school setting and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UK primary curriculum standards.
• Experience supporting English‑as‑a‑Second‑Language (EAL) learners.
