Logistics Manager

About the role

Eaton is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations, import/export activities, and inventory control across its manufacturing sites. The role ensures efficient movement of goods, cost optimisation, and compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage warehouse and import/export functions, providing timely customer service.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and lead annual stock counts.
• Develop and enforce warehouse management processes, documentation, security, 5S, MRB, and material scrapping procedures.
• Oversee receipt, storage, picking, marshalling, and dispatch of goods using the information system.
• Plan warehouse layout to optimise storage space and collaborate with Logistics for timely product delivery.
• Improve import and export efficiency for Suzhou and Shanghai locations while controlling local charges and expenses.
• Prepare storage management reports for senior management.
• Recruit, train, and develop the warehouse team to maintain competency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 10 years of logistics and warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years in a management role and 2 years managing import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of international trade and customs regulations.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Proactive, initiative‑driven attitude with excellent communication and leadership skills.
