Local Business Line Controller

About the role

ABB is seeking a Local Business Line Controller to act as a business partner for the division manager and lead local finance teams in optimizing financial performance across its Xiamen, Shanghai, and Beijing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business planning, rolling forecasts and annual budgeting, translating strategy into measurable targets.
• Ensure high‑quality, compliant financial data and timely closing in line with group accounting and reporting guidelines.
• Maintain SOX, US GAAP and ABB policy compliance, and drive risk management and internal controls.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, support project controlling, and communicate financial insights to global and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting.
• 8+ years of business controlling experience with strong analytical and operational skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, manage risk and drive profitable growth.

Required skills

• Solid SAP knowledge/experience (CO/FI).
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
