Landside Operations Agent

About the role

As a Landside Operations Agent you will support Maersk’s inland transportation network, coordinating trucking, rail, barge and depot services to meet customer requirements. You will act as the liaison between suppliers, internal teams and customers, ensuring timely system updates, cost‑effective dispatching and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch orders following procurement logic while prioritising safety, reliability and cost savings.
• Execute process improvements to boost productivity, resolve complaints faster and optimise end‑to‑end service delivery.
• Provide alternative solutions to customer issues, ensuring compliance with local regulations and minimizing avoidable costs.
• Capture and relay Voice of Customer feedback to enhance inland delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate system updates, cost entries and charge allocations.
• Share best practices and knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of logistics processes across sea, air and international trade, including INCOTERMS, customs documentation and HS codes.
• Familiarity with legal and commercial frameworks, HSSE and environmental compliance.
• Experience with financial management related to invoicing, dunning and profitability analysis.
• Proven relationship‑management skills and ability to work in a matrix organisation.
• Result‑driven mindset with a sense of urgency and persistence.

Required skills
