About the role

BASIS International School Hangzhou is seeking a passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our early childhood team for the 2027‑28 academic year. You will create a joyful, rigorous learning environment where young learners develop curiosity, confidence, and a love for lifelong learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a thematic, hands‑on curriculum that aligns with BASIS educational standards.
• Collaborate with a Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) to provide personalized support and deep subject knowledge.
• Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages child‑initiated play, inquiry, and discovery.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in early childhood education.
• Commitment to the belief that every child can excel with the right support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a co‑teaching model.
