Junior Business Analyst Intern – Advisory Service Delivery

About the role

Join PwC's Advisory Service Delivery Centre in Shanghai as a Junior Business Analyst Intern. You will work alongside experienced consultants to help clients solve complex business challenges from strategy through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement business solutions, collaborating with both business users and development teams.
• Participate in all phases of the IT application project lifecycle, including risk assessment, analysis, design, programming, testing, training, and documentation.
• Provide proactive advice on process optimisation and best‑practice industry standards.
• Analyse user stories, clarify requirements for developers, and support system integration and testing (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) graduating in 2020, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering Management, HR, Psychology or related fields.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; Japanese is a plus.
• Experience or strong interest in ERP configuration/customisation and overall business processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, high sense of responsibility and ability to work effectively in a team.
